You do not need to install an app. Use the YouTube share menu to copy a full link, then open the converter in your current browser.
Convert on iPhone
- In YouTube, open the video and tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open the YouTube to MP3 converter in Safari or your preferred browser.
- Paste the link, choose MP3 and a bitrate, then start the conversion.
- When the file is ready, use the download button. Safari normally places it in the Downloads folder in Files.
Convert on Android
- Use the YouTube share menu to copy the video link.
- Open the converter in Chrome, Firefox, or another current browser.
- Paste the link, choose the output, and wait for the real processing status.
- Tap the download button and check the browser Downloads area if the file does not open automatically.
Choose a practical mobile format
MP3 is the safest option when you want broad compatibility. M4A and AAC can be efficient on current phones, while Opus works best when you know your player supports it. Use the audio-only downloader when you do not need video controls.
If the download does not appear
Check the browser download manager, make sure storage permission has not been blocked, and confirm the temporary link has not expired. If the job itself failed, use the error message rather than repeatedly pressing Convert. The conversion error guide explains the next step for each common state.
