Read the message shown by the converter before retrying. Repeated submissions do not fix a restricted video and can make a temporary capacity problem worse.
“That does not look like a supported YouTube link”
Copy a complete `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…` or `https://youtu.be/…` link. Channel, playlist, search, and shortened links from unrelated services are not accepted in the MVP.
“This video is unavailable”
The video may have been deleted, made private, or removed. Open the original link directly. If YouTube cannot play it for you, the converter cannot create a file from it.
Restricted or unsupported media
Age, account, region, live-stream, DRM, and other access restrictions can prevent processing. Do not repeatedly retry a restriction. Choose media that is publicly accessible and that you are permitted to use.
Selected quality is unavailable
Not every source contains every resolution or audio quality. Try a smaller resolution, select a different audio format, or use the source-aware quality page to understand the limitation.
Timeout or service busy
A long video or a temporary worker queue can exceed the processing window. Wait briefly, submit once, and keep the page open. If the same link repeatedly times out, choose a shorter source.
Expired download
Completed files are temporary. Return to the relevant tool page and create a new job. Use the main converter for MP3/MP4 or the audio-only converter for additional audio formats.
